ABSTRACT
The aim was to analyze the scientific literature on the City Sport and Leisure Program (PELC) through a qualitative systematic review. The results showed that a group of researchers concentrated in the South and Southeast regions, are promoting publications on PELC in predominantly journals in the field of Physical Education and Leisure. There is a concentration of research in management, professional training and evaluation with an emphasis on the program's guidelines and conception of leisure. Secondarily, research on funding, social markers and crosscutting themes was reported. For future investigations, more research is suggested with methodological and theoretical plurality, which goes beyond descriptive research, with a qualitative approach.
