Parámetros Iniciales de Validación del Adult ADHD Self Report Scale (ASRS-6) en adultos jóvenes peruanos / Initial Parameters for the Validation of the Adult ADHD Self Report Scale V 1.1 (ASRS) in Peruvian Young Adults

RESUMEN

RESUMEN Objetivo: Presentar los parámetros métricos iniciales del Adult ADHD Self Report Scale V 1.1 abreviado (ASRS-6) en participantes adultos jóvenes peruanos. Material y métodos: Estudio observacional y trasversal; 70 participantes (39 mujeres), de Lima Metropolitana (Perú); 26 en actividad laboral, entre 17 y 33 años (edad promedio 21.7), de varias carreras profesionales en estudio. Resultados: La estructura interna fue unidimensional, con correlaciones ítem-test y cargas factoriales mayores a .35. La fiabilidad de consistencia interna fue alrededor de .64. La correlación con el GHQ y una medida de estrés fue alrededor de .32. Conclusiones: Los resultados fueron similares al estudio original anglosajón, e indican parámetros psicométricos basales adecuados que dan soporte al estudio inicial de validación del ASRS.

ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Objective. To present the initial metric parameters of the Adult ADHD Self Report Scale V 1.1 abbreviated (ASRS-6) in Peruvian young adult participants. Material and methods. Observational and cross-sectional study; 70 participants (39 women), from Metropolitan Lima (Peru); 26 in work activity, between 17 and 33 years (average age 21.7), from various professional careers under study. Results. The internal structure was one-dimensional, with item-test correlations and factor loads greater than .35. The internal consistency reliability was around .64. The correlation with GHQ and a measure of stress was around .32. Conclusions. The results were similar to the original Anglo-Saxon study, and they indicate adequate psychometric baseline parameters that support the initial ASRS validation study.
