Histopatologia do fígado na forma fatal fulminante da hepatite infectuosa / Histopathology of the liver in the fulminant fatal form of infectious hepatitis

RESUMO

São estudados, pela primeira vez, 40 casos esporádicos de hepatite infecciosa, forma fatal fulminante, de acordo com o critério de Luché & Mallory, 1946. Limita-se o conceito da forma subaguda ao da chamada hepatite subaguda precoce de Stokes & Miller, 1947, isto é, no início de sua evolução, sem alterações cirróticas. É apresentado um estudo da degeneração, necrose e regeneração das células hepáticas, da proliferação dos duetos biliares, aspectos dos sinusoides, infiltrado inflamatório, lesões arteriais e venosas e aspecto do arcabouço reticular. ABSTRACT

For the first time, forty sporadic cases of non epidemic infectious hepatitis of fulminant fatal form have been studied, according to Lucké & Mallory's criteria (1946). The concept of subacute form ís limited to the so called precocious subacute hepatitis (Stokes & Miller, 1946), that ís, at the early stage of the evolutíon and wíthout cirrhotic alteratíons. It is presented also a study of the degeneration, necrosis and regeneration of the liver cells, the bile duct proliferation, the sinusoidal appearance, the intersticial infiltratíon, arteríes and veíns and retícular frame.
