La pieza fresca: una actividad docente a rescatar

RESUMEN

RESUMEN La pieza fresca es un tipo particular de discusión diagnóstica que permite una aproximación inicial a la concordancia clínico-patológica. Este artículo tiene como objetivo realizar un breve recordatorio de las acciones que conforman la actividad de pieza fresca. Se precisan los cuatro momentos para su ejecución: presentación del caso, discusión clínica, presentación de las piezas y conclusiones de la actividad. Se resalta la necesidad de sistematicidad en su ejecución dado el elevado número de necropsias que se realizan en nuestro contexto.

ABSTRACT The fresh piece is a particular type of diagnostic discussion that allows an initial approach to clinicopathological concordance. This article aims to provide a brief reminder of the actions that make up the fresh piece activity. The four moments are required for its execution: presentation of the case, clinical discussion, presentation of the pieces and conclusions of the activity. The need for systematicity in its execution is highlighted given the high number of autopsies that are performed in our context.
