ABSTRACT
This article presents some reflections on the relationship between Social Work and subjectivity, based on the film Joker (2019). From the qualitative research in the bibliographic modality with an exploratory character, the analysis of audiovisual material, and an interdisciplinary theoretical basis, the importance of the discussion about Social Work and subjectivity is perceived. However, this debate should be explicitly and structurally deepened and expanded from an emancipatory and plural perspective, focusing on the processes of formation of the subjects and the social worker; professional performance, and permanent professional education, as well as the field of research and knowledge production
