Hipertensão arterial gestacional: saberes revelados entre gestantes atendidas em unidades básicas de saúde / High blood pressure in pregnancy: revealed knowledge among pregnant women attended at basic health units

RESUMO

A Hipertensão Arterial Gestacional (HAG) é caracterizada pela manutenção dos níveis pressóricos iguais ou maiores que 140 mmHg (sistólica) e 90 mmHg (diastólica). É acometida por diversos fatores sendo eles os modificáveis e não modificáveis, podendo provocar complicações materno-fetal. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os saberes sobre HAG entre gestantes atendidas em unidades básicas de saúde do município de Altamira-Pa. O trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa de campo, com objetivo explo-ratório e de natureza qualitativa. Participaram da pesquisa 50 gestantes, atendidas pelas unidades básicas de saúde do município de Altamira-PA. Foi aplicado um questionário para identificar a ideia central sobre HAG entre as gestantes e demais informações sobre causas, sintomas e prevenção da doença. A ideia central encontrada na evocação livre de palavras foi "não sei", com 208 evocações a partir do termo indutor "HAG". Das pergun-tas feitas às participantes, 68% responderam que não fazem atividade física, 76% que não sabem como é feito o diagnóstico da HAG, 74% responderam não saber sobre os sintomas da doença e 80% não sabem como tratar a patologia. Com isso, foi possível perceber que a falta de informações sobre HAG entre as gestantes pode acarretar de forma negativa os cuidados e hábitos adotados pelas mesmas, contribuindo para o acometimento da doença. Nesse sentido, sugere-se o desenvolvimento de práticas educativas em saúde, destacando a importância do papel do profissional de educação física dentro desse campo de atuação, buscando promover informações e, consecutivamente, mudanças nos hábitos das gestantes atendidas pelas unidades básicas de saúde.

ABSTRACT

Gestational Hypertension (GH) is characterized by the maintenance of blood pres-sure levels equal to or greater than 140 mmHg (systolic) and 90 mmHg (diastolic), is af-fected by several factors being modifiable and not modifiable and may cause maternal-fetal complications. The present study aims to analyze the knowledge about HAG among preg-nant women attended at basic health units in the city of Altamira-Pa. The work is the result of a field research, with exploratory objective and qualitative nature. Fifty pregnant wom-en, attended by the basic health units of the municipality of Altamira-PA, participated in the study. A questionnaire was applied to identify the central idea about HG among pregnant women and other information about causes, symptoms and prevention of the disease. The central idea found in the free evocation of words was "I do not know", with 208 evocations from the term "HAG". Of the questions asked the participants, 68% answered that they do not do physical activity, 76% do not know how the diagnosis of HAG is made, 74% an-swered not knowing about the symptoms of the disease and 80% do not know how to treat the pathology. With this, it was possible to perceive that the lack of information on HAG among pregnant women can negatively affect the care and habits adopted by the pregnant women, contributing to the disease's involvement. In this sense, it is suggested the devel-opment of educational practices in health, highlighting the importance of the role of the physical education professional within this field of action, seeking to promote information and consecutively changes in the habits of pregnant women attended by the basic health units.
