Aproximações da Psicologia construcionista à arte do Palhaço / Approaches from construcionist Psychology to Clown art

RESUMO

Apoiados na experiência do primeiro autor de formar-se palhaço hospitalar e psicólogo clínico, o presente trabalho se propõe a compreender as relações entre essas duas dimensões sociais. Para tal, foi elaborado um conjunto de descrições teóricas que, aproximadas, deram visibilidade às conexões entre ser palhaço e ser psicólogo que se orienta pelo movimento construcionista social. Essas descrições resgatam os contextos históricos nos quais, tanto a palhaçaria quanto o construcionismo social se inserem. Após a contextualização histórica, é enfatizada a formação de ambos, com ênfase nas posturas que adotam diante das relações. Ademais, foram incluídos na análise trechos dos diários de bordo do percurso de formação do primeiro autor enquanto palhaço que atua no hospital. No diálogo estabelecido, as interseções encontradas enfatizam numa visão construcionista do palhaço, que ambos apresentam, na interação com o outro uma postura curiosa e investigativa; são abertos aos significados compartilhados; mantêm o foco do encontro conversacional para a potência e manifestam interesse genuíno pelas narrativas alternativas.

ABSTRACT

Based on the experience of the first author to graduate as hospital clown and clinical psychologist, the present work aims to understand the relations between these two social dimensions. To this purpose, a set of theoretical descriptions was elaborated that approximated, gave visibility to the connections between being a clown and being a psychologist, which is oriented by the social constructionist movement. These descriptions rescue the historical contexts which, both clowning and social constructionism are inserted. After the historical contextualization, the formation of both is emphasizes with focus on the postures they adopt before the relations. Moreover, excerpts from the journals of the first authors training course as a clown who works in the hospital were included in the analysis. In the established dialogue, the intersections found emphasize in a construcionist view of the clown, that both present in the interaction with the other a curious and investigative posture; they are open to shared meanings; they keep the focus of the conversational encounter for power; and manifest genuine interest in alternative narratives.
