RESUMEN

A partir de la última novela de Kazuo Ishiguro, Klara y el Sol, y valiéndonos de la potencia que las ficciones tienen para plantear fecundos interrogantes que hacen a problemáticas de la actualidad, se rastrearán cuestiones relativas al registro de lo imaginario, al proceso de elaboración de un duelo, y a la manera en que opera el saber científico. Por otro lado, el artículo propone una interlocución con un capítulo de la serie "Black Mirror" (Brooker, 2011) que trabaja la misma temática bajo qué coordenadas las nuevas tecnologías habilitan el trabajo singular de un duelo o, por el contrario, pasan a estar al servicio del aplastamiento de ese proceso que hace al carácter estructural de la especie humana

ABSTRACT

Starting from the latest novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, Klara and the Sun, and making use of the power that fictions have to raise fruitful questions that address current problems, issues related to the registration of the imaginary, the process of elaborating a duel and the way in which scientific knowledge operates will be traced. Contributions from Psychoanalysis will be used for this exploration. On the other hand, the article proposes a dialogue with a chapter of the series "Black Mirror" (Brooker, 2011) that works on the same theme under which circumstances do new technologies make possible the singular work of a duel or, on the contrary, are put at the service of crushing the process that makes the structural character of the human species
