RESUMEN
La familia Marcgraviaceae es reconocida en el Perú por presentar cinco géneros y 28 especies (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993; Ulloa Ulloa et al., 2004), en su mayoría lianas y arbustos. En este trabajo reconocemos cinco especies endémicas en cuatro géneros. Las especies endémicas se encuentran en Bosques Húmedos Amazónicos, Bosques Muy Húmedos Montanos y Bosques Muy Húmedos Premontanos, entre los 180 y 2600 m de altitud. Dos especies endémicas están representada dentro del Sistema Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas por el Estado.
ABSTRACT
The Marcgraviaceae are represented in Peru by five genera and 28 species (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993; Ulloa Ulloa et al., 2004), mostly lianas and shrubs. Here we recognize five endemic species in four genera. Endemic species are found in Humid Lowland Amazonian Forests, Very Humid Montane and Very Humid Premontane Forests regions, between 180 and 2600 m elevation. Two endemic species have been recorded in the Peruvian System of Protected Natural Areas.
