Diagnóstico da situação das crianças e dos adolescentes e de sua captura por uma agenda neoliberal / Diagnosis of the situation of children and teenegers and their capture by a neoliberal politics

RESUMO

Resumo O artigo apresenta a situação das crianças e dos adolescentes da classe trabalhadora brasileira no contexto do capitalismo neoliberal e do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA). Para tal, analisa os dados de diferentes institutos de pesquisas sobre temas como trabalho, violência e educação. Constata o agravamento da vida do segmento, mesmo com o avanço das garantias jurídicas, e que o ECA se configura como a modernização do status jurídico necessário à restruturação do capital.

ABSTRACT

Abstract The article presents the situation of children and teenagers from the Brazilian working class in the context of neoliberal capitalism and the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA). To this end, it analyzes data from different research institutes on topics such as work, violence and education. It notes the worsening of the life of the segment, even with the advancement of legal guarantees, and that the ECA is configured as the modernization of the legal status necessary for the restructuring of capital.
