Construção e validação de um jogo educativo sobre biossegurança em uma central de material e esterilização / Construction and validation of an educational game about biosafety in a material and sterilization center

RESUMO

Resumo Trata-se de um estudo para o desenvolvimento de uma tecnologia para educação permanente em serviço, cujo objetivo foi a construção e validação de um jogo educativo sobre Biossegurança em uma Central de Materiais e Esterilização. O método utilizado foi pesquisa aplicada, tecnológica, de desenho exploratório e abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, desenvolvida em seis etapas. Na 1ª etapa foram definidas as características do jogo (objetivos e finalidades). A 2ª etapa consistiu em uma revisão integrativa para embasamento sobre a concepção e o conteúdo do jogo. Na 3ª etapa foi construído o protótipo do jogo e definidas suas regras. Na 4ª etapa foi desenvolvido o conteúdo do jogo educativo por meio de três oficinas com grupos focais norteados pela metodologia da problematizadora, com o uso do Arco de Marguerez. Inicialmente foi disponibilizado um questionário com objetivo de caracterizar o perfil sócio-ocupacional e identificar as ocorrências de acidentes com materiais biológicos. Na 1ª oficina foram realizadas a 1ª e 2ª fases do Arco de Maguerez (observação e pontos-chave) utilizando os resultados do questionário. Na 2ª oficina, foi realizada a 3ª fase do Arco de Maguerez (Teorização), com a discussão das cartas do jogo. Na 3ª oficina realizou-se o teste piloto, constituindo a 4ª fase do Arco de Maguerez (Hipótese de Soluções). Na 5ª etapa ocorreu a validação do conteúdo pelos juízes especialistas. Na 6ª etapa houve a aplicação do jogo e avaliação de aparência pelo público-alvo. O resultado da validação pelos juízes especialistas apresentou um Índice de Validação de Conteúdo maior que 0,8 em 20 cartas. As seis cartas que não atingiram o índice foram descartadas. Os participantes das oficinas relataram coesão das cartas com os temas apresentados, corroborando com as necessidades do serviço. A avaliação de aparência foi positiva e aprovada pelos participantes em sua totalidade. Como resultado, foi construído e validado o jogo de tabuleiro intitulado "Minha Saúde em Primeiro Lugar". O jogo mostrou que atende o objetivo de proporcionar que os profissionais de enfermagem reconheçam os problemas relacionados com biossegurança no ambiente de trabalho de uma Central de Material e Esterilização, prevenindo acidentes e adoecimentos. O jogo de tabuleiro apresenta um caráter inovador para o processo de educação permanente em serviço, pois torna as capacitações mais interativas, permitindo a reflexão sobre o cotidiano laboral e os riscos presentes nele. Esta tecnologia para educação poderá ser replicada em todo o território nacional como uma estratégia de ensino em serviço. As ações educativas em ambientes de saúde são necessárias e são previstas em legislações vigentes no país. O uso desta tecnologia pode garantir a segurança no trabalho dos profissionais de enfermagem e, por consequência, assegurar a segurança dos pacientes nas instituições de saúde.

ABSTRACT

Abstract This is a study for the development of an educational technology, whose objective was the construction and validation of an educational game about Biosafety in a Materials and Sterilization Center. The method used was applied research, technological, exploratory design and quantitative approach, developed in six stages. In the 1st stage, the characteristics of the game (objectives and purposes) were defined. The 2nd stage consisted of an integrative review to support the design and content of the game. In the 3rd stage, the game prototype was built and its rules defined. In the 4th stage, the content of the educational game was developed through three workshops with focus groups guided by the methodology of the problematization, using the Arco de Marguerez. Initially, a questionnaire was made available to be used at this stage. In the 1st workshop, the 1st and 2nd phases of the Arch of Maguerez (observation and key points) were carried out using the results of the questionnaire. In the 2nd workshop, the 3rd phase of the Arco de Maguerez (Theorization) was carried out, with the discussion of the cards of the game. In the 3rd workshop, the pilot test was carried out, constituting the 4th phase of the Arch of Maguerez (Hypothesis of Solutions). In the 5th stage, the content was validated by the expert judges. In the 6th stage, there was the application of the game and the evaluation of appearance by the target audience. The result of validation by expert judges showed a Content Validation Index greater than 0.8 in 20 letters. The six cards that did not reach the index were discarded. Workshop participants reported cohesion of the letters with the themes presented, corroborating the needs of the service. The appearance evaluation was positive and approved by the participants in its entirety. As a result, the board game entitled "My Health in First Place" was built and validated. The game showed that it meets the objective of enabling nursing professionals to recognize problems related to biosafety in the work environment of a Material and Sterilization Center, preventing accidents and illness. The board game has an innovative character for the process of continuing education in service, as it makes training more interactive, allowing reflection on the daily work and the risks present in it. This educational technology can be replicated throughout the national territory as an in-service teaching strategy. Educational actions in health environments are necessary and are provided for in current legislation in the country. The use of this technology can guarantee the safety at work of nursing professionals and, consequently, ensure the safety of patients in health institutions.
