La administración universitaria en función de la estrategia académica de proyección hacia la comunidad / The university administration based on the academic strategy focusing on the community

RESUMEN

Fundamento la educación médica está comprometida con la realidad sanitaria del país, por lo que en la solución de los problemas de salud debe estar la fuente de la práctica de los procesos enseñanza aprendizaje. Objetivo: describir la implementación de la estrategia académica de proyección comunitaria aplicando las etapas del ciclo administrativo. Métodos: se realizó una investigación acción participativa, durante el primer trimestre del año 2016 en la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara. La información se obtuvo mediante el uso de métodos del nivel teórico análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción, que permitieron de manera sintetizada analizar los principales referentes sobre el tema; y empíricos el análisis documental. Resultados: la agrupación de las acciones previstas en la estrategia de proyección comunitaria según las etapas del ciclo administrativo permitió la participación activa de los educandos en las labores comunitarias curriculares, como parte de la educación en el trabajo; dirigidas a modificar el cuadro de salud y la situación higiénico-epidemiológica de la población donde fueron ubicados. Conclusiones: la estrategia académica de proyección comunitaria resulta socialmente pertinente para el trabajo de estudiantes y profesores de las ciencias médicas, y su aplicación debe estar en correspondencia con las etapas del ciclo administrativo de cada institución universitaria.

ABSTRACT

Background: medical education is committed to the health situation of the country, so the solving of health problems should be the source of the practice of the teaching-learning processes. Objective: to describe the implementation of the academic strategy focusing on the community applying the stages of the administrative cycle. Methods: a participatory action research work was carried out during the first quarter of 2016 at Villa Clara University of Medical Sciences. The information was obtained by using theoretical methods: analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction, which allowed a synthesized way to analyze the main reference on the subject; and empirical ones documentary analysis. Results: the grouping of the actions envisaged in the strategy focusing on the community according to the administrative cycle stages allowed the active participation of students in curricular community work as part of the in-service training; aimed at changing the picture of health and hygienic-epidemiological situation of the population where they were located. Conclusions: the academic strategyfocusing on the community is socially relevant to the work of students and teachers of medical sciences and its implementation must be in line with the stages of the administrative cycle of each university.
