A ORTODONTIA NA ATENÇÃO MULTIDISCIPLINAR NA SAÚDE DO PACIENTE FISSURADO: UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA / Orthodontics in multidisciplinary health care in cleft patients: a literature review

RESUMO

As fissuras labiopalatais constituem anomalias faciais congênitas que causam uma série de implicações funcionais, estéticas e psicossociais no indivíduo. As consequências psicológicas da fissura podem ter origem após o nascimento da criança, correlacionado-se com a forma pela qual ela é recebida no meio famíliar e o crescimento desses pacientes pode ser controverso, caso não exista um tratamento adequado. Neste sentindo este trabalho teve por objetivo realizar uma revisão de literatura sistemática sobre o tratamento ortodôntico na atenção da saúde ao paciente fissurado, bem como o emprego da equipe multiprofissional e interdisciplinar em seu atendimento.

ABSTRACT

The cleft lip and palate are congenital facial abnormalities that cause a series of functional, aesthetic, and psychosocial implications for the individual. The psychological consequences of the crack may originate after child birth, correlated with the way in which it is received in the family environment and the growth of these patients can be controversial if no suitable treatment exists. This feeling this study aimed to conduct a systematic review of literature on orthodontic treatment in health care to cleft patients and the use of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team in their care.
