RESUMEN
Se ha realizado un estudio piloto para evaluar la confiabilidad y validez de la escala Skindex-29, una auto comunicación que evalúa la calidad de vida en personas que sufren afecciones dermatológicas en la población argentina. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 150 sujetos, 100 pacientes y 50 no pacientes. Los resultados obtenidos y las comparaciones por sub-muestras resultaron prometedores, con alta confiabilidad y validez, lo que permitirá continuar trabajando con la misma escala en diversas poblaciones, para corroborar la estabilidad de la misma.
ABSTRACT
A pilot study has been performed in order to assess the validity and reliability of the Skindex-29 instrument, a self-administered report which evaluates the quality of life of argentine population with cutaneous conditions. The sample consisted of one-hundred and fifty subjects, one hundred were patients and fifty were not. Both the outcomes obtained and the subsampled comparisons turned out to be promising, with a high level of reliability and validity. This will allow to works with the same Instrument in different populations in order to confirm its stability.
