Adesão aos antirretrovirais em pessoas com HIV na Grande Florianópolis / Adherence to antiretrovirals in HIV patients in Florianópolis urban area

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar a adesão à medicação antirretroviral em um centro de atenção terciária à saúde de uma cidade da Grande Florianópolis. Trata-se de um estudo transversal em que foram entrevistadas 54 pessoas. Para identificar o grau de adesão adotou-se o Teste de Morisky, Green e Levine de quatro questões, utilizado para a análise do grau de adesão à terapia antirretroviral, no caso deste estudo. A adesão pelo auto-relato foi estimada com base nas doses esquecidas de medicamentos nos períodos recordatórios de 30, 15, três e no dia anterior à entrevista. Foram considerados aderentes aqueles que utilizaram todas as doses preconizadas por meio do auto-relato e que responderam adequadamente ao teste aplicado. Os resultados de adesão foram: referida no último mês (80%), nos 15 dias pregressos (88%), nos três dias antecedentes (98%) e no dia anterior (100%). De acordo com o Teste de Morisky, Green e Levine, 30% dos pacientes tiveram alta adesão ao tratamento. A partir da identificação da prevalência da baixa adesão, devem ser elaboradas estratégias individuais e coletivas para a promoção da adesão nestes pacientes.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the adherence to antiretroviral therapy in a tertiary health care center in a city of Greater Florianópolis. This is a cross-sectional study in which 54 patients were interviewed. To identify the adhesion rate, the four questions Morisky, Green and Levine´s test was adopted. The adherence through self report was evaluated by the forgotten doses in the period of 30, 15, three and the day before the interview. Adherents were those patients who used all the recommended doses and responded adequately to the applied test. The adherence results were referred to in the last month (80%), in the 15 days previous the interview (88%), in the three days before it (98%) and the day before (100%). According to the Morisky, Green and Levine Test, 30% of patients had high adherence to treatment in life. From the identification of poor adherence to the treatment, individual and collective strategies must take place to promote a better adherence in this cohort of patients.
