Trabalho e lazer: oposição ou composição? / Work and leisure: opposition or composition?

RESUMO

Este estudo problematiza inter-relações existentes entre trabalho, tempo, educação e lazer. A principal referência teórica apropriada para compreensão do tema em debate dá-se em torno da sociologia do trabalho, associada a determinadas perspectivas da Educação Física e do Lazer. Trata-se de um ensaio organizado em capítulos, discutindo-se determinados aspectos referentes ao modo de estruturação do trabalho, sua relação com o tempo, Educação Física e lazer. O sentido dado ao trabalho e sua possível ressignificação são os elementos fundamentais propostos, no intuito de contribuir para a reflexão a respeito do modelo de sociedade atual. Novas práticas corporais relacionadas à Educação Física, bem como a educação para e pelo lazer são estratégias percebidas como promissoras à mudança de valores, em que o homem possa, de fato, viver em liberdade.

ABSTRACT

This paper has as a purpose the discussion that involves the similarities and the differences between work, education, leisure and citizenship. The main theory that is a reference to understand the subject is the work sociology, associated with certain prospects of Physical Education and Leisure. The methodology is organized into chapters, including the work structure, its relation with time and education. The work meaning and its possible redefinition are the key elements proposed in order to contribute to change in the way to think about the current social model. New bodily practices related to physical education as well as education to and by the leisure are perceived as promising strategies in order to change the social values. The perspective is to live as a real free person.
