As lógicas da toxicomania e a condição do sujeito / The logics of substance abuse and the condition of the subject

RESUMO

Sabe-se que o uso de drogas é uma prática que esteve presente em toda a história da humanidade. Contudo, o abuso de drogas é um marco social dos tempos atuais, crescente na sociedade contemporânea e que torna alarmantes os indicadores de produção e consumo de substâncias psicoativas. Do ponto de vista da Psicanálise, o uso problemático de drogas demanda um olhar para o sujeito implicado nesse padecimento. Logo, visando justificar a importante contribuição da Psicanálise em sua inserção no campo do uso abusivo de drogas, ressalta-se a necessidade de outra compreensão que não aquela a partir da qual o tratamento psicoterapêutico tem como objetivo o rápido alcance do estado de abstinência e a sua manutenção. Este artigo aborda, a partir da proposição da denominada operação de phármakon, as lógicas do investimento do sujeito no objeto droga, considerando a heterogeneidade presente na toxicomania. Assim referenda-se a afirmativa de não ser o tóxico a droga, mas, sim, a tentativa de estabelecer uma relação de exclusividade com a droga, isto é, a sua função da substância na vida psíquica do sujeito. A partir da narrativa clínica de dois jovens toxicômanos abordam-se as duas lógicas de funcionamento do tóxico na vida psíquica do sujeito a de Suplência e a de Suplemento. Por meio de contribuições da Psicanálise é problematizada a especificidade do posicionamento subjetivo na toxicomania.(AU)

ABSTRACT

It is known that drug use is a practice which has been a fact throughout the history of mankind. However, drug abuse is a social framework of the current times, ever increasing in today's society, making the indicators of production and consumption of psychoactive substances alarming. From the point of view of Psychoanalysis, the problematic use of drugs requires a look at the subject with such an ailment. Therefore, in order to justify the important contribution that Psychoanalysis has in its insertion in the field of drug use, one must emphasize the need for having a different understanding besides the one in which psychotherapeutic treatment aims at the rapid achievement and maintenance of state of abstinence. This article's start approach is the proposition called pharmakon operation, the subject's logic of investment in the drug-object, considering the heterogeneity present in drug addiction. So, one must endorse the affirmative that the toxic itself is not the drug, but rather the attempt to establish an exclusive relationship with the drug, i.e. its function as substance in the psychic life of the subject. From the clinical narrative of two young addicts, it deals with the two working logic that the drug occupies in the psychic life of the subject as Replacement and as Supplement. Through contributions from Psychoanalysis, the specificity of the subjective positioning in addiction is discussed.(AU)
