Atendimento em psicoterapia dinâmica breve: relato de caso / Care in brief dynamic psychotherapy: case report

RESUMO

Neste trabalho, é apresentado um caso de transtorno de estresse pós-traumático (TEPT) de início tardio, encaminhado para atendimento na área de psicoterapia dinâmica breve (PDB). O trabalho com o paciente se centrou nos aspectos relacionados ao evento estressor e às dificuldades acarretadas por ele, buscando minimizar os prejuízos do paciente e ajudá-lo a alcançar objetivos determinados. A análise deste caso veio a corroborar que pacientes com TEPT de início tardio também podem ser beneficiados com a PDB.(AU)

ABSTRACT

In this work, a case of delayed onset Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) referred for attendance at the brief dynamic psychotherapy (BDP) area. The work with the patient centered around the aspects related to the stressor event and the difficulties brought about by it, seeking to minimize the patient's losses and help him achieve certain goals. The analysis of this case corroborates that delayed onset PTSD can also benefit through BDP.(AU)
