RESUMO

Este trabalho visa discutir algumas considerações teóricas que podem ser úteis no trabalho psicoterápico com crianças portadoras de transtornos globais do desenvolvimento. A autora faz uso do relato de caso de um menino com Síndrome de Asperger que foi atendido em psicoterapia de orientação analítica a fim de ilustrar os aspectos teóricos abordados e ampliar a discussão proposta.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This paper intends to discuss some theoretical considerations that may be useful in psychotherapy with children with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD). The author uses the case of a nine year old boy with Asperger's Syndrome, who was treated in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, to illustrate the theoretical aspects and extend the discussion of the proposal.(AU)
