A dimensão da parentalidade no tratamento do paciente adulto / The dimension of parenthood in the treatment of adult patients

RESUMO

A análise de pacientes adultos por analistas com formação em análise de crianças e adolescentes oferece uma oportunidade de reflexão para uma situação que se apresenta também a qualquer analista as identificações do paciente com seu filho e seus desdobramentos na sua análise. Os filhos evocam nos pais esperanças e aspirações profundas, sonhos narcisistas, mas também hostilidade destrutiva. Uma das fontes dessa destrutividade, além do passado dos pais, é o status atual dos pais como adultos, com poderes físicos e mentais adultos e a atemorizadora consciência dos limites finitos desses poderes a serem apontados em análise pelo campo analítico na relação com o analista. Ademais da análise da transferência, as projeções dos conflitos e dificuldades dos pais nos seus filhos podem ser identificadas em análise e serem abordadas desde o vértice do exercício e construção da parentalidade a partir do contato com o filho como alguém diferente de seu genitor. Este trabalho procura discutir esse ponto desde o vértice teórico e ilustrando-o com dois exemplos de pacientes adultos (com filhos) em análise.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The analysis of an adult patient conducted by analysts who, besides being an adult analysts is also a chidren and adolescent's analyst offers him/her an opportunity to reflect upon a situation that shows off for any analyst the adult patient's identification with his children and their implications for his/her analysis. As we know, children evoke in their parents hope and the deepest aspirations, but also narcissistic dreams and destructive hostility. One of the sources of this destructiveness, beyond the parents'past is the current status of the parents as adults who have physical and mental powers, bringing up the frightening awareness of the finite limits of those powers to be pointed by the analytical field in relation with the analyst. Further analysis of the transference, as well as the projections of the conflicts and problems of parents in their children can be identified in analysis and be addressed from the vertex of the construction of parenthood, keeping an eye in the child as someone other than this/her parent. This paper discusses this theoretical vertex and illustrates it with two clinical vignetes of adult patients (with children) underanalysis.(AU)
