Psicoterapeutas e processos psicoterapêuticos no cinema: diálogos psicanalíticos sobre formação profissional / Psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic processes in Cinema: psychoanalytical dialogues about professional training

RESUMO

Produções cinematográficas têm estabelecido aproximações com a prática da psicoterapia, apresentando características mais ou menos verossímeis dessa atividade profissional e do psicoterapeuta. O objetivo deste trabalho consistiu em pesquisar filmes comerciais/ficcionais que retratavam psicoterapeutas e processos de psicoterapia, lançados a partir de 2001, aproximando-os de debates orientados psicanaliticamente. A análise de dados foi quantiqualitativa. Foram encontradas 27 produções, em sua maioria estrangeiras (96%), apresentando psicoterapeutas com diferentes formações profissionais (psicólogos, 19%; psiquiatras, 15%; terapeutas, 22%; entre outros), trabalhando em consultórios privados (59%) e instituições (18%), que preservam fronteiras profissionais. As análises e discussões permitiram observar que, embora existam algumas aproximações significativas, nem sempre as películas representam características apropriadas acerca dos processos psicoterapêuticos. Os resultados encontrados demonstram que produções fílmicas, quando contextualizadas teoricamente, podem ser ferramentas didáticas que contribuem aos processos de formação de novos profissionais, porque favorecem construções e desconstruções de aspectos que constituem o ofício do psicoterapeuta.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Film productions have established approximations with the practice of psychotherapy, presenting characteristics, which are more or less credible, of this professional activity and the psychotherapist. The objective of this work was to investigate commercial/fictional movies, released from 2001, that portrayed psychotherapists and the psychotherapeutic processes, bringing them close to discussions psychoanalytic oriented. The analysis of data was quantitative and qualitative. 27 productions were found, most of them foreign (96%), presenting psychotherapists with different professional backgrounds (psychologists, 19%; psychiatrists, 15%; therapists, 22%; among others), working in private consulting room (59%) and institutions (18%), who preserve professional boundaries. Both the analysis and discussions enable us to observe that, although there are some meaningful approximations, the movies not always represent the characteristics of the psychotherapeutic processes properly. The outcomes show that film productions, when contextualizes theoretically, can become didactic tools which may contribute to the training of new professionals because they favor constructions and deconstructions of aspects that make up the psychotherapeutic work.(AU)
