RESUMO
Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever e compreender um processo de psicoterapia, com foco na técnica psicanalítica. MÉTODO:
Realizou-se estudo de caso único sistemático com uma paciente diagnosticada com transtorno de personalidade borderline. As sessões da dupla paciente-psicoterapeuta e das respectivas sessões de supervisão foram gravadas e posteriormente analisadas. Para mensurar adesão à técnica, 13 juízas preencheram o Iasp (Instrumento para Avaliar Sessões Psicanalíticas).RESULTADO:
Embora o tratamento seja aderido à técnica psicanalítica, na análise geral deste, não se observa a clássica atitude analítica. A não interpretação das resistências, aliada à atitude prescritiva, pode ter contribuído para a interrupção prematura.CONCLUSÃO:
Avaliar o processo pode auxiliar no desenvolvimento de técnicas mais efetivas com esse tipo de paciente.(AU)ABSTRACT
This paper aims to describe and understand a psychotherapy process, focusing on psychoanalytical technique. METHOD:
A systematic case study was performed with a patient diagnosed as borderline personality disorder. The patient-therapist sessions and of their supervision sessions were recorded and analysed. To assess adherence to the technique, thirteen judges rated the IASP (Instrument for Evaluating Psychoanalytic Sessions).DISCUSSION:
Although the treatment is adhered to the psychoanalytic technique, the general analysis does not show the classic analytic attitude. The non-interpretation of resistance coupled with prescriptive attitude may have contributed to the premature interruption.CONCLUSION:
Evaluating process can assist in developing more effective techniques.(AU)
