RESUMO

O presente trabalho desenvolve uma análise acerca dos webblogs pró-anorexia. Através da análise buscamos identificar nos blogs aspectos favoráveis à magreza espetacularizada pela mídia atualmente. Primeiramente discorremos sobre as influências da mídia no imaginário. Num segundo momento fizemos uma breve explanação psicológica sobre a anorexia nervosa no intuito de por em questão os preconceitos que geralmente ligam as causas deste transtorno à mídia. Damos ainda uma necessária explicação sobre o conceito de blog e levantamos alguns aspectos relacionados que foram essenciais para a pesquisa. Notamos, nos conteúdos dos blogs estudados, um enfoque à magreza através da veiculação voluntária de imagens de "artistas" magras. Concluímos que nos blogs pró-anorexia as autoras utilizam as imagens de mulheres magras e famosas como justificativa para sua doentia busca pela magreza.

ABSTRACT

The present study develop an analyses concerning pro-anorexy webblogs. In this analyses we tried identify good aspects for thinness espetaculared by mass media nowadays. Firstly, we wrote about Mass Media influences in the imaginary. On the second moment we did a brief psychological explanation about tha Nervous Anorexy to put in the discussion some prejudices that make relations between this eating disorder and mass media. We still give a necessaryexplanation about the blog concept and show some aspects related that were essentials to this research. It was realized that in the blogs there are a focus to thinness through the voluntary veiculation of the images of the thin "artists". The conclusion is that in pro-anorexia blogs the girls use this images to justify their sickness search for the thin body.
