RESUMEN
Desde que Edward Angle en 1890 desarrolló su clasificación se ha mantenido vigente por su simplicidad. Pero esta clasificación es la descripción de una relación dental y no tiene en consideración su origenetiológico. Es así como la relación molar de Clase III puede involucrar distintas alteraciones de variado origen etiológico. En este trabajo describimos el denominado "Síndrome de Binder", el cual puede ser confundido con otras patologías de Clase III, de origen distinto.
ABSTRACT
Since Edward Angle in 1890 developed his classification has been kept in force for his simplicity. But this classification is the description of a dental relation and does not take into consideration its aetiologic origin. As such, Class III molar relation can involve different alterations of diverse aetiologic origin. In this piece of work we describe the so-called "Binder’s Syndrome" which can be confused withother Class III pathologies of different origin.
