Efecto de la consejería de enfermería en la disminución de la ansiedad en el paciente pre quirúrgico del Servicio de Cirugía del Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Neurológicas, 2013 / Effect of the counseling of nursing in the reducing of anxiety in the pre-surgical patient of the Surgery Service at the National Institute of Neurological Sciences, 2013

RESUMEN

El Objetivo fue determinar el efecto de la consejería de enfermería en la disminución de la ansiedad en el paciente pre quirúrgico del servicio de cirugía del Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Neurológicas, 2013. Material y Método: El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo, método cuasi experimental, con dos grupos de estudio y una sola medición después de la aplicación de la consejería de Enfermería (Post prueba); la población fue de 720 pacientes, y la muestra de 76 pacientes, 38 conformaron el grupo experimental y 38 el grupo control. La técnica fue la Encuesta y el instrumento el Inventario de Ansiedad Rasgo-Estado, aplicado previo consentimiento informado. Resultados: Del 100 por ciento (38) de pacientes del grupo experimental, después de la aplicación de la Consejería de Enfermería; en relación al nivel de Ansiedad-Rasgo; 13 por ciento (5) presentó un nivel de ansiedad alta, 53 por ciento (20) media y 34 por ciento (13) baja. Mientras que en el grupo control, del 100 por ciento (38); 21 por ciento (8) presentó un nivel de ansiedad alta, 61 por ciento (23) media y 18 por ciento (7) baja; En relación al nivel de Ansiedad - Estado, en el grupo experimental, del 100 por ciento (38), después de la aplicación de la Consejería de Enfermería; 5 por ciento (2) presentó un nivel de ansiedad alta, 32 por ciento (12) media y 63 por ciento (24) baja; mientras que el grupo control 68 por ciento (26) presentó un nivel de ansiedad alta, 24 por ciento (9) media y 8 por ciento (3) baja. ABSTRACT

The objective was to determine the effect of nursing counseling in reducing anxiety in the pre-surgical patient surgery department of the National Institute of Neurological Sciences, 2013. Methods: The study is quantitative, application level, method quasi-experimental, with two tanks and a single measurement after application of counseling Nursing (Post test); the population was 720 patients, and the sample of 76 patients, 38 formed the experimental group and 38 control group. The technique was the survey instrument and the Trait Anxiety Inventory-State, applied prior informed consent. Results: Of 100 per cent (38) of patients in the experimental group after the implementation of the Department of Nursing; relative to the level-Trait Anxiety; 13 per cent (5) had a high anxiety level, 53 per cent (20) mean and 34 per cent (13) low.
