Avaliação Fotográfica das Proporções Faciais de Homens e Mulheres com Harmonia Facial / Photographic Evaluation of Facial Proportions of Men and Women with Facial Harmony

RESUMO

Objetivo: Investigar se a proporção divina manifesta-se nas proporções faciais das pessoas selecionadas por avaliadores, utilizando, para tal, o critério de beleza facial. Material e Métodos: A amostra inicial foi obtida a partir de 104 pessoas, previamente selecionadas e separadas em grupos M (masculino) e F (feminino), sendo realizados, de cada participante, dois registros fotográficos (A e B). A partir do registro fotográfico A obtiveram-se fotografias (frontal e lateral), que foram submetidas ao exame por um grupo de avaliadores. De posse dos valores atribuídos pelos avaliadores, foram identificados os sujeitos que comporiam a amostra final, assim constituída subgrupos M1 e F1 (10 pessoas com valor numérico maior) e M2 e F2 (10 pessoas com valor numérico menor), totalizando uma amostra final de 80 fotografias (frontais e laterais) a partir do registro fotográfico B. Prosseguiu-se com a análise facial propriamente dita. Resultado: a) na análise facial Vertical presença de diferença estatística significante para todos os subgrupos e em todas as medidas quando comparados ao medida-padrão; b) na análise facial Transversal foi observado que na proporção CL-CL//NL-NL, nos subgrupos F2, M1 e M2, não houve diferença estatística significante da medidapadrão; c) na análise facial Sagital N-TRG//TRG-CL não apresentou diferença estatística significante quando comparado à medida-padrão apenas nos subgrupos F1 e F2.Conclusão: A proporção divina não está associada à percepção da beleza no contexto desta pesquisa. ABSTRACT

Objective: Investigate whether the divine proportion is manifested in the facial proportions of persons selected by evaluators, using, for this purpose, facial beauty criteria. Material and Methods: The initial sample was obtained from 104 persons, previously selected and separated into groups M (male) and F (female), and were taken, from each participant, two photographic records (A and B). From photographic record A two photos were obtained (frontal and lateral), which were submitted to examination by a group of evaluators. From the values attributed by the evaluators, were identified the subjects that would be part of the final sample, thus constituted subgroups M1 and F1 (10 people with greater numeric value) and M2 and F2 (10 people with smaller numeric value), totaling a final sample of 80 photos (frontal and lateral), from photographic record B. The facial analysis was then carried out. Results: a) in the Vertical facial analysis there is the presence of a significant statistical difference for all the subgroups and in all the measurements when compared to the standard measurement; b) in the Transversal facial analysis it was observed that in the LCLC// NL-NL proportion, in subgroups F2, M1 and M2, there was no significant statistical variation from the standard measurement; c) in the Sagittal facial analysis N-TRG//TRGLC did not show any significant statistic difference when compared to the standard measurement only in subgroups F1 e F2. Conclusion: Divine proportion is not associated to the perception of beauty in the context of this research.(AU)
