RESUMO
A Psicose aguda é uma emergência médica e pode ser um quadro perigoso para o próprio paciente e para outras pessoas. A correta abordagem e manejo do médico especialista ou não especialista são de grande importância. Neste trabalho revisaremos de forma breve este tema.
ABSTRACT
The acutely psychotic patient is a medical emergency and can be dangerous to themselves and others. The correct approach and management from the specialist or general physician is of considerable importance. This paper aims at a brief review of this subject.
