ABSTRACT

The tumor lysis syndrome is an oncology emergency that can lead to death or seriously hamper the ability of cancer patients receiving cytotoxic therapy. Thus it is essential that the physician is ready to promote the rapid recognition framework and relief of symptoms, with prompt correction of their metabolic abnormalities.
