RESUMEN
Introducción:
El cuidado del neurodesarrollo implica intervenciones dirigidas a proteger el delicado e inmaduro sistema nervioso central de los recién nacidos prematuros. Material yMétodos:
Estudio observacional, descriptivo de corte trasversal. Se aplicó un cuestionario a 73 individuos en el área de enfermería con preguntas cerradas agrupadas en tres niveles en el Servicio de Neonatología del Hospital Nacional de Itauguá de abril de 2008 a marzo de 2009.Resultados:
En la población predominan los talentos humanos en enfermería del sexo femenino, la media de años en el servicio fue de 11±5,6 años. En conocimientos algunos de los encuestados llegó al puntaje máximo, no así en práctica y actitud, una de cada tres personas encuestadas realiza una práctica correcta, de los cuales 85% son auxiliares en enfermeríaABSTRACT
