RESUMEN
El 14 de diciembre de 2017 se instaló oficialmente el Consejo General de Educación Médica (CGEM) constituido por los decanos de facultades de medicina miembros de ASCOFAME y representantes de los Ministerios de Salud y Educación (http//ascofame.org.co/web/cgem/). Este organismo permitirá cumplir varios mandatos de la Ley 1164 de 2007 de talento humano en salud, tales como la definición de criterios y requisitos para homologación de títulos del exterior y los procesos de certificación y recertificación.
ABSTRACT
On December 14, 2017, the General Council of Medical Education (CGEM) was officially installed, constituted by the deans of medical schools members of ASCOFAME and representatives of the Ministries of Health and Education (http//ascofame.org.co/web/cgem/). This body will make it possible to comply with several mandates of Law 1164 of 2007 on human talent in health, such as the definition of criteria and requirements for the homologation of degrees from abroad and the certification and recertification processes.
