Socialização, gênero e família: uma revisão integrativa da literatura científica / Socialization, gender and family: an integrative review of scientific literature

RESUMO

O objetivo desta revisão foi conhecer o que os principais estudos acadêmicos têm discutido acerca da relação entre sexualidade, gênero e família na atualidade. Foi realizado um levantamento nas bases SciELO, PePSIC e LILACS (2011 e 2016) combinando unitermos que se relacionavam com a temática, em seguida foi realizada uma exclusão por títulos e depois por resumos. Após esse processo os artigos que restaram foram lidos na íntegra e 28 permaneceram como amostra para esta revisão. Por meio dos estudos recuperados três categorias foram constituídas: Perfil das publicações; Sexualidade e Gênero: abordagem e aspectos importantes; Papel da família no exercício da sexualidade e no desenvolvimento da identidade de gênero dos filhos. Os estudos apontam importante influência familiar no desenvolvimento da sexualidade e da identidade de gênero dos filhos, além de ratificarem a persistência das relações de poder no âmbito familiar sustentada pela desigualdade na relação entre os gêneros.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The aim of this review was to know what the main academic studies have discussed about the relationship between sexuality, gender and family. A survey in SciELO, PePSIC and LILACS (between 2011-2016), in which were combined key words that related to the theme, then it was first carried out an exclusion for titles and later by summaries. After this process the items that remained were read in full and 28 remained as a sample for this review. Three categories were formulated through the studies retrieved: Profile publications; Sexuality and gender: approach and important aspects; Family and exercise of sexuality and development of the children's gender identity. Studies indicate significant family influence in the children development of sexuality and gender identity, and ratify the persistence of power relations within the family, supported by the inequality in the relationship between the genders.(AU)
