Em busca do comum: o cuidado do agente comunitário de saúde em Saúde Mental / In search of the common - the care practiced by community health workers in the Mental Health field

RESUMO

Resumo O artigo é fruto de uma pesquisa-intervenção junto a agentes comunitários de saúde (ACS) de uma unidade de saúde (US) da cidade de Porto Alegre-RS, cujo objetivo foi compreender as estratégias utilizadas por esses profissionais no cuidado em saúde mental. A metodologia utilizada foi a da cartografia, que visa acompanhar os deslocamentos no campo com base na coprodução entre pesquisador e objeto. A partir de espaços de Educação Permanente em Saúde, foram produzidos/descobertos caminhos para a potencialização das práticas de cuidado, guiando-se pela reinvenção de percepções cotidianas e saberes populares como ferramentas de intervenção junto aos usuários. Essas foram chamadas práticas do comum - no diálogo com as análises de Negri e Hardt sobre as metamorfoses do trabalho contemporâneo e as possibilidades de resistência nesse contexto - construindo relações de cuidado democráticas, de uma epistemologia compartilhada e com alto potencial terapêutico. Os ACS enredados na trama do território afetam-se pelo que é seu e podem agir a partir desses afetos. Entretanto, os modos de composição entre vida pessoal, saber comunitário e prática profissional podem ter vários resultados, gerando também ações culpabilizantes e higienistas, sendo necessária atenção constante às direções éticas pelas quais se constrói o trabalho.

ABSTRACT

Abstract This article arises from an intervention research with community health workers (CHWs) in a Primary Health Care Center in Porto Alegre (Brazil). This research aims to study the strategies used by these professionals in mental health care. The research method applied was cartography, which intends to track the changes in the field of research, considering the co-production between the researcher and the object. Through meetings on Permanent Education in Health, paths were created/found to enhance the care practices of these professionals, guided by the reinvention of everyday perceptions and popular knowledge as tools for interventions with health system users. These were called practices of the common - following Negri and Hardt's analyzes on the contemporary workforce changes and the resistance possibilities in this context - developing democratic care relationships, in a epistemology shared with high therapeutic potential. CHWs caught on the territorial network are affected by what belongs to them and may act out of these affections. However, the patchwork among private life, community knowledge and professional practice can have several results, also leading to guiltifying and hygienist actions. So constant attention is required to the ethical directions on which the work is developed.
