Análisis de la situación de salud en un consultorio médico / Analysis of the health situation of a family doctor's office

RESUMEN

Introducción: el análisis de la situación de salud constituye una actividad que singulariza al médico familiar, actuando como valiosa herramienta en la identificación y control de problemas sanitarios. Objetivo: describir el análisis de la situación de salud en un consultorio médico. Métodos: se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal y retrospectivo en el Consultorio Médico de Familia 18, perteneciente al Grupo Básico de Trabajo 2 del Policlínico universitario "Pedro Borrás Astorga" de la ciudad Pinar del Río durante el año 2015, a través de indicadores seleccionados. Los resultados se expresaron en tablas y gráficos para su mejor comprensión. Resultados: la población se caracterizó por la preponderancia del sexo femenino (55,6 por ciento) y el grupo etario de 60 y más años (30,6 por ciento). Predominó el grupo dispensarial III (61,6 por ciento), además de los factores de riesgo hábito de fumar en los hombres (46,4 por ciento) y sedentarismo en las féminas (46,2 por ciento). Prevaleció la hipertensión arterial (31,8 por ciento) como enfermedad crónica no transmisible y actividades específicas de salud como Consultas totales con 5 223. Conclusiones: se describió el análisis de la situación de salud de un consultorio médico teniendo en cuenta aspectos clínicos y epidemiológicos. Dicho estudio enriquece y amplía el trabajo asistencial, docente, investigativo y gerencial en el área, contribuyendo al fortalecimiento de los programas e indicadores de salud(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The analysis of the health situation is an activity that distinguishes the family doctor, acting as a valuable tool in the identification and control of health problems. Objective: To describe the analysis of the health situation in a family doctor's office. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study was carried out in the family doctor's office # 18, belonging to the Basic Working Group 2 of Pedro Borrás Astorga University Polyclinic in the city of Pinar del Río during the year 2015, through selected indicators. The results were expressed in tables and graphs for their better understanding. Results: The population was characterized by the preponderance of the female sex (55.6 percent) and the age group 60 or over (30.6 percent). There was a predominance of the dispensary group III (61.6 percent), in addition to the risk factors for smoking in men (46.4 percent) and sedentary lifestyle in women (46.2 percent). Prevalence of hypertension (31.8 percent) as a chronic noncommunicable disease and specific health activities. The total of consultations was 5223. Conclusions: The analysis of the health situation of a doctor's office was described taking into account clinical and epidemiological aspects. This study enriches and extends care delivery, teaching, research and management work in the area, contributing to the strengthening of health programs and indicators(AU)
