RESUMEN

Se presenta un ensayo de Rodolfo Senet, uno de los pioneros de la psicología experimental pedagógica en Argentina, sobre la diferencias entre los sexos en términos de superioridad o inferioridad. Se analiza al mismo desde la perspectiva de género y en el contexto de los problemas de su época, para finalmente señalar la relevancia de dicho enfoque para la historia de la psicología y para el desarrollo de una visión de género en la disciplina en su conjunto. Analizar históricamente como la psicología aporta o brinda obstáculo a cada una de las opciones nos permite tener más herramientas para criticar las teorías y los usos del presente, como así también su potencial para futuras políticas en materia de género y diversidad.(AU)

ABSTRACT

One presents Rodolfo Senet's essay, one of the pioneers of the experimental pedagogic psychology in Argentina, on the differences between sexes in terms of superiority or inferiority. We analyze the book from a gender perspective in the context of the problems of his time, to finally point out the relevance of this approach to the history of psychology and the development of a gender perspective in the discipline as a whole. Historically analyzing how psychology provides or offers obstacle to each of the options allows us to have more tools to criticize the theories and usages of the present, as well as its potential for future politics in the matter of gender and diversity.(AU)
