Estudo do tema "hábito" na teoria de Lev S. Vigotski / Study on "habit" in Lev S. Vygotsky's theory

RESUMO

Este estudo teórico aborda o tema "Hábito" na ciência psicológica nas primeiras décadas do século XX, destacando a apropriação desse tema pela teoria do psicólogo russo Lev S. Vigotski. Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa bibliográfica em textos de Vigotski e em literatura especializada da época, sobre o tema em foco, e se compõe de dois momentos inter-relacionados: primeiramente, identifica em manuais de psicologia e em teorias psicológicas do período, definição, natureza e papel do hábito no comportamento humano. Num segundo momento, analisa o tema na teoria de Vigotski e como esse tema se distingue em sua psicologia. Os dados indicaram que o tema "hábito" é um tópico significativo na teoria histórico-cultural e têm um lugar importante no projeto de psicologia de Vigotski, especialmente em sua explicação sobre educação e desenvolvimento das funções psíquicas superiores.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This study approaches "Habit" in the Psychological Science in the early twentieth century, emphasizing the appropriation of this issue by Russian psychologist Lev S. Vygotsky?s theory. This work results from a bibliographical research in texts of Vigotksi and in specialized literature of the time, on the subject in focus, and consists of two interrelated moments: firstly, it identifies the definition, nature and role of "habit" in human behavior according to psychology textbooks, and psychological theories of the period as well. Secondly, it analyzes the theme in Vygotsky's theory, and how this theme is distinguished in his psychology. Data indicated that the theme "habit" is a significant topic in the Historical-cultural theory, and that it has an important place in Vygotsky's psychology project, especially in his explanation of education and development of higher mental functions.(AU)
