RESUMO

Marialzira Perestrello (1916-2015) teve participação pioneira na difusão da psicanálise no Brasil, atuando na fundação da Sociedade Brasileira de Psicanálise do Rio de Janeiro e divulgando a psicanálise no meio médico. Assim, o presente artigo tem por objetivo compreender a trajetória profissional de Marialzira Perestrello junto à psicanálise brasileira. Para tal foi realizada uma pesquisa histórica, baseada em fontes orais, por intermédio de entrevistas colhidas junto a Marialzira Perestrello e documentais, através da análise de algumas de suas obras. Os resultados indicam que, além de participar da institucionalização da psicanálise no Brasil, está autora promoveu a inserção da psicanálise na Clínica de Orientação Infantil do Instituto de Psiquiatria da Universidade do Brasil. Sua obra dedica-se, predominantemente, ao estudo da relação entre psicanálise e cultura e história da psicanálise no Brasil.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Marialzira Perestrello (1916-2015) was a pioneer in the diffusion of psychoanalysis in Brazil, participating in the foundation of the Brazilian Psychoanalytic Society of Rio de Janeiro and disseminating psychoanalysis in the medical field. Thus, this article aims to understand the career of Marialzira Perestrello in Brazilian psychoanalysis. To this end, a historical research was made based on oral sources, through interviews gathered from Marialzira Perestrello and documentaries, by analyzing some of her works. The results indicate that, besides participating in the institutionalization of psychoanalysis in Brazil, this author promoted psychoanalysis insertion in the Child Guidance Clinic of the Psychiatry Institute of the University of Brazil. Her work is dedicated, predominantly, to the study of the relationship between psychoanalysis and culture and the history of psychoanalysis in Brazil.(AU)
