Linfocintilografia pré e pós fisioterapia vascular em pacientes com linfedema

RESUMO

A fisioterapia complexa descongestiva, vem sendo a terapia de eleição em tratamento dos linfedemas há alguns anos. Embora haja diversos métodos de avaliação do edema, (perimetria, volumetria, tonometria), a linfocintilografia aparece como opção única no estudo da função linfática, viabilizando o estadiamento linfático pré e pós tratamento com estudo de vias, linfonodos e fluxo quanto as avaliações pós tratamento, de forma eficaz, não invasiva e sem morbidade. Este estudo tem como objetivos avaliar a linfocintilografia e a técnica de fisioterapia vascular realizada como formas eficazes de estadiamento linfático e redução de linfedemas. Realizamos linfocintilografias pré e pós tratamento em 22 pacientes com linfedema primários e secundários. Na análise dos resultados foi aplicado o teste do quiquadrado. Foram encontrados valores altamente significativos em todas as variáveis analisadas. A linfocintilografia mostrou-se um método simples e eficaz para a avaliação da função linfática em pacientes com linfedemas, e a técnica de fisioterapia adotada mostrouse eficiente na redução dos mesmos.

ABSTRACT

Complex descongestive physiotherapy is the main therapy for the treatment of lymphedemas in the last few years. Although there are many methods for the evaluation of the lymphedernas, (perimetry, volumetry, tonometry), lymphocintigraphy is the only option for the study of the lymphatic function, making the lymphatic stating before treatment, the lymphnode study, the path ways and lymph flow study possible, also making post treatment evaluation effective, non invasive and related to low morbidity. The objetives of the present study are to evaluate lymphocintigraphy and the vascular physiotherapy technique used for lymphatic staging and lymph edema treatment. Lymphocintigraphy and clinical evaluation was done before and after surgery in 22 patients with primary and secondary lymp edemas. The chi-square test was used for the analyses of the results. Significant values were found for all studied variables. Lymphocintigraphy is a high effective method on the evalution of the lymphatic function of patients with lymph edema. The adopted physiotherapy technique was effective for the reduction of those.
