Olha o aviãozinho!: A relação mãe e bebê com dificuldades alimentares / Look at the airplane!: The relation between mother and infant with feeding difficulties

RESUMO

O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender como se caracteriza a relação mãe e bebê, frente às dificuldades alimentares da criança. Utilizou-se o delineamento de estudo de casos múltiplos com três mães adultas e seus bebês de sete a oito meses, que tinham dificuldades alimentares, constatado pelo Symptom Check-List. Também foram utilizados Ficha de Dados Clínicos e de Dados Sociodemográficos; M.I.N.I. - Plus, para identificar critérios de exclusão; Entrevista sobre a Experiência da Maternidade, e Interaction Assessment Procedure. Analisou-se a experiência de ser mãe, aleitamento materno, a transição dos alimentos líquidos para sólidos, as dificuldades em relação à alimentação e a relação mãe-bebê. Os resultados apontaram que a introdução da alimentação complementar pode ser sentida como uma interferência na interação mãe-bebê, representando o fim da amamentação e apontando a necessidade de ajustes na relação da dupla.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was understanding how the relationship between mother and baby features itself, facing the child feeding difficulties. The study design of multiple cases was used with three adult mothers and their babies seven to eight months, they had feeding difficulties, found with the Symptom Check List. Were also used Clinical data sheet and Sociodemographic data; M.I.N.I. - Plus, to identify exclusion criteria; Interview about the experience of motherhood and Interaction Assessment Procedure. It was analyzed the experience of being a mother, breastfeeding, the transition from liquid to solid food, the difficulties in relation to food and the mother-infant relationship. The results showed that the introduction of complementary foods can be felt as an interference in the mother-infant interaction, representing the end of breastfeeding and indicates the need for adjustments in respect of the pair.
