Negar a possibilidade de representação visual da Shoah não significará mimetizar a "política do segredo absoluto", preconizada pelo nazismo? Como analisar as fotografias de Abu Ghraib, marcadas pela confluência entre tortura e pornografia? Como abjeção e segredo se encontram nas imagens de uma sexualidade crua encenada por Andres Serrano e Cindy Sherman?
ABSTRACT
To deny the possibility of Shoah's visual representation will not lead to the emulation of the nazi "politics of absolute secret"? How we can analyze the photographs of Abu Ghraib, whose distinguishing mark is a confluence between torture and pornography? How abjection and secret come together in the images of a naked sexuality simulated by Andres Serrano and Cindy Sherman?
