Relación enfermera-paciente: una perspectiva desde las teorías de las relaciones interpersonales / Nurse-patient relationship: an approach from the interpersonal relationships theories

RESUMEN

Introducción: la vida de los seres humanos se manifiesta a través de relaciones entre semejantes, estas se desarrollan en el seno de grupos e instituciones. El hombre como ser social está sujeto a relaciones interpersonales que se promueven entre personas que se conocen o no. Estas van a jugar un rol importante en la actividad humana y están mediadas por la comunicación. En enfermería, se establecen relaciones con el paciente y familiares, de modo que le permita a la enfermera favorecer la relación terapéutica, satisfacer las necesidades del paciente y brindar cuidados de enfermería. Objetivo: indagar sobre la relación enfermera-paciente, a través de las teorías de las relaciones interpersonales en enfermería. Métodos: revisión bibliográfica integrativa, con análisis crítico de la literatura consultada, que incluyó libros de texto, monografías, artículos originales y de revisión publicados en castellano de 2004 a 2015, la búsqueda se realizó en SciELO, Dialnet y elsevier, con las palabras clave, relación, enfermera, paciente y enfermería, se identificaron y revisaron 8 artículos de los que fueron útiles 5. Se consultaron especialistas para ampliar los conocimientos sobre las bases conceptuales de enfermería. Conclusiones: la indagación sobre la relación enfermera-paciente permitió presentar la visión de esta en las diferentes teorías de enfermería relacionadas con el tema, a partir de su expresión en los elementos de la comunicación necesarios para lograr el cuidado y con ello la satisfacción de necesidades(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The life of the human beings is manifested by the relationships among them, which develop within the groups and institutions. The man as a social being is subject to interpersonal relationships promoted among people who know each other or not. They will play an important role in the human activity and are mediated by communication. In nursing, relationships are established with both the patient and the family, so that this permits the nurse to favors the therapeutic relationships, meet the patient's needs and provides nursing cares. Objective: Inquire into the relationship nurse-patient, by using the theories of the interpersonal relationships in nursing. Methods: Integrating bibliography review, with a critical analysis of the consulted literature, which included text books, monographs, original and review articles published in Spanish from 2004 to 2015. We search in SciELO, Dialnet and Elsevier, with the key words relation, nurse, patient and nursing. We identified and reviewed eight articles, out of which five were useful. We consulted specialists to broaden the knowledge about the conceptual bases of nursing. Conclusions: Inquiries into the relationship nurse-patient permitted to present a vision about it while considering the different nursing theories related with the topic, from their expression by the communication elements necessary for the care and thus to meet the needs(AU)
