Políticas do movimento estudantil de psicologia no Brasil / Politics of the student movement of Psychology in Brazil

RESUMO

Nos estudos da história da psicologia brasileira, um campo que costuma ser pouco investigado é o da história de suas entidades políticas. Este artigo visa realizar um histórico do movimento estudantil de psicologia para discutir suas práticas políticas. Realizamos uma revisão bibliográfica e a observação participante de Encontros Nacionais de Estudantes de Psicologia. Diferenciamos quatro formas de organizações estudantis a partir do conceito de movimento social de A. Melucci a organização tradicional que tem fins políticos, a associação esportiva, a empresa júnior e os coletivos sociais autônomos. Concluímos que o movimento estudantil de psicologia modulou sua atuação a partir dos principais acontecimentos políticos do país, como a opressão do regime militar, a redemocratização do país, a ascensão do Partido dos Trabalhadores ao Governo Federal e o atual momento de crise política e radicalização das lutas sociais. Sua atuação também focou a formação em psicologia, com muitos debates sobre o currículo dos cursos de psicologia desde a década de 1960.

ABSTRACT

In studies of the history of Brazilian psychology, a field that is few investigated is the history of its political entities. This article aims to conduct a history of the student movement of Psychology to discuss its political practices. We conducted a literature review and a participant-observation of National Meetings of Psychology Students. We distinguish four forms of student organizations from the concept of social movement of A. Melucci the traditional organization with political purposes, the sport association, the junior enterprise and the autonomous social collective. We conclude that the Student Movement of Psychology has coordinated its actions from the major political events of the country, such as the oppression of the military dictatorship, the democratization of the country, the rise of the Workers Party to the federal government and the current moment of political crisis and radicalization of social struggles. His performance also focused on training in psychology, with many discussions about the curriculum of the degree in psychology since the 1960s.
