RESUMEN

Objetivo:

determinar la satisfacción laboral de la enfermera general. Materiales y

métodos:

se realizó un estudio descriptivo y prospectivo en 58 enfermeras generales de base, adscritas a Urgencias y al Departamento de Medicina Interna del Hospital de Especialidades 14, Centro Médico Nacional "Adolfo Ruiz Cortines", Veracruz. Se aplicó una encuesta con 16 ítems, las dimensiones contempladas como indicadoras de satisfacción fueron desempeño de actividades, remuneración económica, satisfacción emocional, aspectos de trabajo y relaciones interpersonales.

Resultados:

se estudiaron 44 enfermeras; 55 |% (24) perteneció al Departamento de Medicina Interna y 45 % (20) a Urgencias; 46 % de las primeras y 45 % de las segundas manifestó satisfacción; 54 y 55 %, respectivamente, satisfacción parcial. Ninguna expresa insatisfacción.

Conclusión:

en los tres turnos el nivel de satisfacción laboral de las enfermeras del Departamento de Medicina interna fue igual al de las enfermeras de Urgencias.
ABSTRACT

Objective:

Determining the satisfaction of the General Nurse in their labor acting. Material is and

methods:

it was carried out a descriptive study, prospective in 58 General Nurses of base, from the services of Urgencies and Internal Medicine of the Hospital of Specialties No. 14 of the Medical National Center "Adolfo Ruiz Cortines" in Veracruz. A survey with 16 items was applied, the dimensions contemplated as indicative of Satisfaction were acting of activities, economic remuneration, emotional satisfaction, aspects of work and interpersonal relationships.

Results:

44 nurses were studied, the 55 % (24) were from the service of Internal Medicine and the 45 % (20) of the service of Urgencies. The 46 % of the first group and the 45 % of second manifest be satisfied and the 54 % and 55 % partially.

Conclusions:

The level of labor satisfaction of the general nurses of Internal Medicine is equal to that of the nurses of Urgencies, in the 3 shifts.
