RESUMO
Esta pesquisa visou examinar a atuação do psicólogo em unidades dos CRAS (Centro de Referência em Assistência Social) e descrever os desafios encontrados pelo psicólogo nesta área de atuação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva, realizada em uma amostra de conveniência, utilizando como técnica de coleta de dados a entrevista semiestruturada. Foram entrevistadas nove psicólogas lotadas nas unidades do CRAS da região do Vale do Itajaí e Florianópolis SC. A análise do material foi realizada através da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados apontaram que a atuação do psicólogo no CRAS, ainda é recente e permeada por limitações na formação e dificuldades na delimitação do seu papel na instituição. Foi possível também identificar a insatisfação do profissional com a gestão pública. Os resultados sugerem que é necessário ampliar a formação do psicólogo para subsidiar a atuação na rede de atenção psicossocial organizada a partir das políticas públicas, bem como, construir outras formas de atuação, mais coadunadas com as demandas da população atendida.
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to examine the psychologist role in units of CRAS (Reference Center for Social Assistance) and describe the challenges faced by the psychologist in this area of activity. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive, conducted with in a convenience sample, using as a data collection technique a semi-structured interview. Nine psychologists were interviewed at CRAS units of Itajai Valley region and Florianópolis - SC. The analysis of the material was performed by content analysis. The results showed that the psychologist role in CRAS is a novel area and permeated by limitations during graduation and difficulties in defining its role in the institution. It was also possible to identify professional dissatisfaction with public management. The results suggest that it is necessary to expand the training of psychologists to support the activities in the network of psychosocial care organized from public policies, as well as build other forms of action, more coadunated with the demands of the population served.
