ABSTRACT

Background:

the realization and exhibition of the thesis works in the university allows to initiate the student in the field of scientific research.

design:

the observational study; they were executed mainly in the laboratories (extraclinical) of the faculty. Collaborative networks were found around the basic sciences, orthodontics and periodontics, mostly. Regarding the impact factor, 40 theses presented an average of 0.53 ± 1.26.

Conclusions:

the main bibliometric indicators of the thesis supported by the undergraduate students were described, it was determined that their thematic should be reoriented towards the priorities of the scientific community related to oral health.
