RESUMEN
La incidencia de conducta suicida en Colombia viene aumentando en los últimos años. En 2017 se registró un incremento de suicidios de 10,0% con respecto al año 2016 y de 25,0% con relación a 2008. La tasa por 100.000 habitantes en el 2017 fue de 5,72, la mayor del decenio. Fue mayor el deceso de hombres (81,49%); por cada 10 mujeres que se quitaron la vida, lo hicieron 44 hombres (Forensis 2017).
ABSTRACT
The incidence of suicidal behavior in Colombia has been increasing in recent years. In 2017, there was an increase in suicides of 10.0% compared to 2016 and 25.0% compared to 2008. The rate per 100,000 inhabitants in 2017 was 5.72, the highest in the decade. The death of men was higher (81.49%); for every 10 women who took their own lives, 44 men did so (Forensis 2017).
