A circulação e desenvolvimento do discurso sobre Zika entre gestantes de Manaus, Amazonas / The circulation and development of the Zika discourse among pregnant women in Manaus, Amazonas

RESUMO

O trabalho analisa a circulação e desenvolvimento do discurso sobre Zika entre as gestantes urbanas e ribeirinha. Para a consecução dos objetivos desta pesquisa de doutoramento, foram analisadas as representações discursivas de temas relacionados ao objeto de investigação, por meio da análise das entrevistas entre as gestantes de duas áreas distintas do Município de Manaus ­ Amazonas. Inicialmente é realizada a leitura flutuante das entrevistas para identificação de categorias temáticas a partir da epistemologia de Ludwik Fleck, utilizando as categorias, por ele consideradas, de Estilo de Pensamento (EP), Coletivo de Pensamento, Círculo Esotérico, Círculo Exotérico. As características sociodemográficas e do histórico obstétrico das gestantes são apresentadas e na sequência uma reflexão crítica a partir do discurso das gestantes, que puderam ser agrupados em duas categorias temáticas e subdivididas em subcategorias. A primeira foi "Os entraves desde a gênese" e a segunda categoria temática foi "A circulação e desenvolvimento do fato híbrido 'Zika' no discurso das gestantes". Os resultados indicam que as gestantes entrevistadas fazem parte do Coletivo de Pensamento Popular e que compartilham distintos estilos de pensamento denominados de midiático e ajustado. Para o EP subordinado a intensificação de circulação de ideias, conhecimentos e práticas, reflete uma forma de prevenção prioritariamente individualizada. Já o EP cítico é caracterizado por um perfil de mulheres que apesar de usar a televisão para se informar, incorporam as questões sociais e ambientais à problemática da Zika

ABSTRACT

The search analyzes the circulation and development of the Zika discourse among urban and riverine pregnant women. For the accomplishment of the objectives of this doctoral research, the discursive representations of subjects related to the object of investigation were analyzed, through the analysis of the interviews between the pregnant women of two distinct areas of the Municipality of Manaus - Amazonas. Initially, a floating reading of the interviews to identify thematic categories from the epistemology of Ludwik Fleck using the categories of Thought style (EP), Thought collective, Esoteric circle, Exoteric circle. The sociodemographic characteristics and the obstetric history of the pregnant women are presented and, in the sequence, a critical reflection from the discourse of the pregnant women, who could be grouped into two thematic categories and subdivided into subcategories. The first was "The obstacles since the genesis" and the second thematic category was "The circulation and development of the hybrid fact 'Zika' in the discourse of pregnant women." The results indicate that the interviewed pregnant women are part of the Collective of Popular Thought and that they share different thought styles denominated of mediatic and adjusted. For the mediatic EP, the intensification of circulation of ideas, knowledge and practices, reflects a form of prevention that is primarily individualized. The adjusted EP is characterized by a profile of women who, despite using television to inform themselves, incorporate social and environmental issues into the Zika problem:
