RESUMEN
A través de este trabajo, se buscó conocer factores relacionados con la mortalidad materna en 105 hospitales de Ica, Perú. Se realizó un estudio de casos y controles, el grupo de casos fueron 07 mujeres fallecidas, comparado con un segundo grupo control de 14 mujeres que sobrevivieron a complicaciones en el embarazo, parto y puerperio. En el an lisis para cada variable de interés tuvo como base la estimación de Razón de Disparidad (OR) y sus intervalos de confianza en 95%. Los resultados señalan asociación en las variables atención del parto por otro profesional con un OR 17 e 1(95%(13- 216) Y 105 pacientes referidos tienen un OR 22 e 1(95% (1.85-26). Los resultados destacan la necesidad que 105 pacientes de alto riegos obstétrico deben ser atendidos por el especialista en gineco obstetricia y las referencias de los pacientes con complicaciones obstétricas debe ser oportuna evitando que sean trasladados en estado crítico. ABSTRACT
Through this work was researched for know about factors related with maternal mortality in the hospitals of lea, Peru. Cases-controls study were conducted, the group of cases were 07 women who had died, compared with a second control group of 14 women who survived to complications in pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. In the analysis for each variable of interest was based on the estimated of Reason of Disparity (OR) and 95% confidence intervals. The results indicate association in the variables child-birth care by another professional with an OR 17 and 95 % IC (13-216) and the patients referred have an OR 22 and 95% IC (1.85 -26). The results highlight the need that the patients of high risk obstetric must be treated by an obstetrics-gynecology specialist and the references of the patients with obstetric complications must be timely by avoiding that being transferred in critical condition.(AU)
