ABSTRACT
About a case of unilateral hyperlucent lung, the authors discuss the diagnosis, the pathogenesis and the therapeutic of such syndrome. They insist on the study of the bronchi and the vessels in order to find the etiology and possible associated lesions and to appreciate the ventilatory and hemodynamic repercussions. No surgery is the rule. In our case a pneumonectomy was done justified by the hemorragic complications of the associated bronchectasies. The removed lung was studied histologically and this allowed on anatomo-clinical confrontation
