Of the radiological study for the oesophagus showed evidence of stricture in 93.33% of the cases tight a stricture was present in 30.67% of cases and dilatation above the stricture was present in 57.33% of cases. Over spilling bronchography was observed in 68% of cases during lipidol swallow. Examination of the respiratory system showed bronchitis in [40%], pneumonia in [21.33%] and middle lobe collapse in [1.33%] iatrogenic lung lesion was observed in three children [4%]. Respiratory complication was found to occur more commonly in those children with high, non-passable or long strictures. It was also common when there was dilatation above the stricture and when there was evidence of reflux bronchography
