ABSTRACT
One-hundred nine nursing students on grades fourth participated in the study. Data were collected using a questionnaire that assessed the subjects' knowledge of immediate care. The results showed that nursing student's knowledge was partially obtained. There was a minor loss of knowledge of some items e.g. immediate care of fracture arms and limbs, importance of immediate care and techniques used for resuscitation of persons. The rest of knowledge regarding the other items was very poor to be obtained, due to lack of practice care
